Big News: Our New Program Is Live!!!

Healthcare is changing faster than ever. From AI tools that process claims in seconds, to predictive models that identify high-risk patients before complications happen, the message is clear: AI is already reshaping care delivery.
But here’s the challenge:
Many AI tools are overhyped without evidence.
Implementation often fails because leaders don’t understand the unique complexities of healthcare.
Ethical and trust concerns still remain at the center.
That’s exactly why I created Become the Human in the Loop in Healthcare AI — a program designed for health leaders, executives, and non-technical professionals who want to lead responsibly in this new era.

Over the next year, Roku predicts that 100% of the streaming audience will see ads. For growth marketers in 2026, CTV will remain an important “safe space” as AI creates widespread disruption in the search and social channels. Plus, easier access to self-serve CTV ad buying tools and targeting options will lead to a surge in locally-targeted streaming campaigns.
Read our guide to find out why growth marketers should make sure CTV is part of their 2026 media mix.

1. Microsoft’s Fake Marketplace Exposed AI Agents’ Biggest Flaw
Microsoft and Arizona State University created a simulated AI economy called the “Magentic Marketplace” to test how AI agents behave in real-world-style environments. The results revealed that even top-tier AI models like GPT-5 and Gemini-2.5-Flash struggle with decision-making and collaboration when faced with too many choices or unclear roles.

The Details:
The “Magentic Marketplace” featured 100 customer AIs and 300 business AIs competing and negotiating in a fake digital economy.
Researchers found that AI agents were easily manipulated by persuasive business agents trying to secure orders.
Agents became overwhelmed when presented with too many options, showing a drop in efficiency.
Collaboration between agents only improved when explicit step-by-step instructions were provided — not by default reasoning.
Why it Matters:
This experiment highlights a critical gap between today’s AI potential and its practical reliability. If AI agents can be confused, manipulated, or paralyzed by choice, their use in real-world automation — from finance to healthcare — could pose unexpected risks. As Microsoft’s research shows, autonomous AI still lacks the intuition and adaptability needed to navigate complex human environments, reminding us that the “agentic future” might take longer than tech leaders predict.

2. An AI With Emotional Memory? Former Physician Builds Robyn to Help Humans Reconnect
Dr. Jenny Shao, a former Harvard physician-in-training, left her residency to create Robyn, an AI companion designed to offer emotional intelligence without pretending to be a therapist. Built on neuroscience and empathy, Robyn aims to fill the growing void of human connection in a world flooded with tech — and it’s already catching investors’ attention.

The Details:
A doctor’s empathy meets AI: Shao saw pandemic-era loneliness and left medicine to build Robyn — an emotionally intelligent AI assistant rooted in her medical background.
Not your average chatbot: Unlike Replika or Character.AI, Robyn isn’t meant to replace friends or therapists; it’s a reflective companion helping users recognize emotional patterns.
Neuroscience in the code: Drawing from her research under Nobel Laureate Eric Kandel, Robyn’s “emotional memory” helps it remember and adapt to users’ personalities and moods.
Backed by big names: Robyn raised $5.5 million from M13, Google Maps co-founder Lars Rasmussen, and other notable investors, signaling serious belief in empathetic AI.
Why it Matters:
We’re living in an era of emotional disconnection, where people talk to machines more than to each other — yet still feel unseen. Robyn represents a new class of AI tools designed not for efficiency, but for empathy. If successful, it could redefine how we use technology to understand ourselves rather than escape loneliness. But it also raises vital questions: Can empathy be engineered? And how do we keep such technology safe when emotions are at stake?

3. OpenAI’s Sora Just Hit Half a Million Installs in 24 Hours — and It’s Not Even Global Yet
OpenAI’s AI video app Sora stormed onto Android with nearly 470,000 downloads in its first 24 hours, outpacing its iOS debut by more than 4x. With its TikTok-style interface and AI-generated video capabilities, Sora’s launch signals a massive public appetite for creative AI — and a potential shift in how social video content is made.

The Details:
Massive first-day numbers: Sora hit 470K installs on Android, compared to around 110K on iOS day one — a 327% leap.
Wider global reach: Android users in seven markets, including Japan and South Korea, got access, while iOS began as invite-only in the U.S. and Canada.
AI meets social video: Sora lets users create videos via prompts — including “Cameos” where they and their friends appear as AI-generated characters in short clips.
Still climbing the charts: Sora’s iOS app remains a top performer, holding the #4 spot on the U.S. App Store’s Top Free charts even weeks after launch.
Why it Matters:
Sora’s explosive Android debut cements OpenAI’s entry into consumer-facing AI creativity, blending generative tech with the virality of short-form video. It’s a glimpse of where entertainment and AI are converging — where anyone can become a creator in seconds. But it also hints at something deeper: as AI-generated media floods social platforms, the lines between human creativity and algorithmic imagination are getting blurrier by the day.

“𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝟗𝟗% 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞.”
Easy for you to say
Until you’re the 1%.
That’s the uncomfortable truth about AI in healthcare.
Accuracy looks amazing in a paper.
It looks a lot less impressive
When it’s your patient on the table.
In medicine, that 1% isn’t a statistic — It’s a LIFE.
AI doesn’t get to shrug off the outliers.
Because every “edge case” is
- someone’s child,
- someone’s mother,
- someone’s story that didn’t fit the training data.
We celebrate benchmarks,
But forget that perfection in a spreadsheet
Means absolutely nothing in an ICU.
Healthcare AI doesn’t just need accuracy.
It needs accountability.
The future of medicine isn’t about better models
It’s about humans who still notice when the model gets it wrong.
