Big News: Our New Program Is Live!!!

Healthcare is changing faster than ever. From AI tools that process claims in seconds, to predictive models that identify high-risk patients before complications happen, the message is clear: AI is already reshaping care delivery.
But here’s the challenge:
Many AI tools are overhyped without evidence.
Implementation often fails because leaders don’t understand the unique complexities of healthcare.
Ethical and trust concerns still remain at the center.
That’s exactly why I created Become the Human in the Loop in Healthcare AI — a program designed for health leaders, executives, and non-technical professionals who want to lead responsibly in this new era.

Over the next year, Roku predicts that 100% of the streaming audience will see ads. For growth marketers in 2026, CTV will remain an important “safe space” as AI creates widespread disruption in the search and social channels. Plus, easier access to self-serve CTV ad buying tools and targeting options will lead to a surge in locally-targeted streaming campaigns.
Read our guide to find out why growth marketers should make sure CTV is part of their 2026 media mix.

1. AI May Save Lives — But It’s Complicating Who’s Liable When It Doesn’t.
A new JAMA summit report warns that AI’s rapid integration into healthcare could make it far harder to assign blame when medical errors occur. With limited regulation, unclear liability, and inconsistent testing, AI could complicate everything from malpractice claims to product accountability.

The Details:
AI tools now help with diagnosis, imaging, and hospital management, but many lack proper oversight.
Experts warn that fault and liability will be difficult to prove when AI decisions lead to harm.
Courts may struggle with early inconsistencies, raising costs and uncertainty in AI adoption.
The report highlights that most widely used AI tools are the least evaluated, calling for stronger digital infrastructure and funding.
Why it Matters:
As AI becomes a core part of clinical decision-making, accountability in healthcare is entering uncharted territory. If a patient is harmed by an AI-assisted diagnosis, who’s responsible—the doctor, the developer, or the algorithm itself? Without clear legal and ethical frameworks, innovation could outpace safety, eroding patient trust. The report underscores an urgent need for standardized testing, regulation, and transparency before AI becomes medicine’s next malpractice battleground.

2. Billions Spent, No Breakthrough: Meta’s AI Problem Deepens
Meta is spending unprecedented amounts — up to $600 billion on AI infrastructure — but investors are starting to worry. Despite massive investments in data centers, talent, and compute, the company has yet to show a clear revenue path or flagship AI product to justify the cost.

The Details:
Meta’s AI-related expenses jumped $7B year-over-year, with nearly $20B in capital spending this quarter alone.
The company’s stock plunged 12%, erasing over $200B in market value, after vague earnings explanations.
Meta’s AI products — like the Meta AI assistant, Vibes video generator, and Vanguard smart glasses — remain experimental, not profitable.
Zuckerberg insists the Superintelligence Lab will soon unveil “novel models and products,” but details remain scarce.
Why it Matters:
Meta is in a race to define its place in the AI revolution — but so far, the returns haven’t matched the rhetoric. Unlike OpenAI or Google, Meta lacks a breakout AI product generating real revenue. Investors are questioning whether Zuckerberg’s “spend first, explain later” strategy can hold. If Meta fails to deliver a commercially successful AI breakthrough soon, its vast infrastructure could become a monument to overconfidence — not innovation.

3. Fitbit’s Gemini-Powered Coach Is Changing How You Train
Fitbit is rolling out its Gemini-powered “Coach” AI to Premium users, marking a major leap in personalized health tech. Available first on Android, the AI acts as a custom fitness trainer, sleep coach, and wellness advisor — adjusting routines in real time based on user feedback and even injuries.

The Details:
The Gemini AI Coach builds custom workout plans based on goals, equipment, and performance feedback.
It can modify fitness routines dynamically, such as adapting when a user reports pain or fatigue.
Fitbit’s app got a complete redesign with four main tabs — Today, Fitness, Sleep, and Health.
Premium users need a Fitbit or Pixel Watch to access the preview version starting this week.
Why it Matters:
This marks Google’s strongest push yet to blend AI and everyday health management. Fitbit’s Coach doesn’t just track — it interprets, reacts, and guides, moving closer to the holy grail of truly personalized wellness. As AI assistants expand from productivity to physical health, tools like Gemini Coach could redefine how users approach fitness, rest, and recovery — turning wearables into proactive health partners instead of passive trackers.

Because we still haven’t fixed how we
- collect,
- label, and
- share what we know.
We keep saying AI will revolutionize medicine.
But if your hospital can’t even merge two EHR systems,
What exactly is it learning from?
Inconsistent units.
Incomplete records.
Unstructured notes written at 2 AM.
That’s what most “training data” in healthcare looks like.
Sad truth.
AI isn’t magic, it’s math.
And math is only as good as the meaning we give it.
If we want AI to save lives,
We have to teach it from data that actually reflects life.
