66% of Physicians Are Already Using AI
It’s augmentation. And it’s happening fast!!

Welcome, AI Entrepreneurs!
The narrative around AI in medicine is changing.
It is no longer about replacement.
It is about augmentation.
AI is not taking over clinical decision-making. It is reshaping how clinicians spend their time, process information, and deliver care.
Less time on repetitive tasks.
More time on complex thinking.
But this shift comes with new responsibilities.
Because as AI becomes more embedded, trust, equity, and oversight become just as important as capability.

The Augmented Intelligence Shift: Enhancing Human Expertise in Medicine
This week’s infographic highlights the transition from AI as a tool to AI as an extension of clinical capability.
Adoption is accelerating rapidly, with physician usage rising from 38 percent to 66 percent in just two years. This growth reflects a shift in how AI is perceived. It is no longer experimental. It is becoming part of everyday clinical workflows.

One of the most immediate impacts is time. AI-driven automation is helping clinicians reclaim three to four hours per day by reducing administrative burden. This shift allows more focus on decision-making, patient interaction, and higher-value tasks.
The infographic also highlights the real-world impact of AI in clinical settings. Predictive tools are enabling earlier intervention, potentially preventing hundreds of patient deteriorations each year. This reinforces AI’s role as a support system that enhances clinical awareness rather than replacing it.
At the same time, the visual raises important concerns around trust and equity. Only a minority of physicians believe AI will improve health equity, and algorithmic bias remains a real risk, particularly in areas like diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
The takeaway is clear.
The future of healthcare is not artificial intelligence alone.
It is augmented intelligence, where human expertise and AI systems work together, with responsibility, oversight, and clinical judgment at the center.

Are you running your business on incomplete numbers?
Most small business owners have financials, but few have financial clarity. There's a real difference between books that are technically up to date and books that actually tell you what's going on in your business right now. When accounting is reactive — updated when there's time, reviewed at tax season — you lose visibility exactly when you need it most. You can't tell which clients are truly profitable. You can't spot a cash flow gap before it becomes a crisis. BELAY's outsourced accounting team changes that.

1. Iran Threatens AI Data Centers in Escalating Conflict
Iran has threatened to target AI data centers across the Middle East, including the $500B Stargate initiative backed by OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle, signaling a new phase where AI infrastructure is becoming part of geopolitical conflict.

The Details:
Iran warned it would retaliate against U.S. tech and energy infrastructure in the region if its own civilian infrastructure is targeted.
A military video explicitly highlighted the Stargate AI data center in the UAE, signaling its strategic importance.
Reports indicate that data centers, including those linked to Amazon Web Services and Oracle, have already been struck in the region.
The escalation follows threats from Donald Trump to target Iranian infrastructure amid tensions over the Strait of Hormuz.
Why it Matters:
AI is no longer just a technological race — it is becoming critical infrastructure tied to national security. As data centers grow in strategic importance, they are increasingly being treated like energy assets or military targets, reshaping the risks around global AI expansion.

2. People Prefer Warehouses Over AI Data Centers
Public resistance to AI data centers is rising, with new surveys showing many people would rather have traditional industrial facilities like warehouses in their neighborhoods than energy-intensive data centers.

The Details:
A Harvard/MIT poll found only 40% support building data centers locally, while a significant portion of respondents opposed them outright.
Two-thirds of respondents expressed concern that data centers would increase electricity prices in their region.
A separate Quinnipiac poll showed even stronger resistance, with 65% of Americans opposing AI data centers in their communities.
While economic benefits like job creation were cited, data centers typically employ relatively few workers once operational.
Why it Matters:
As AI demand accelerates, data centers are becoming essential infrastructure — but also a growing source of public tension. This pushback could slow expansion, increase regulatory pressure, and ultimately shape where and how AI infrastructure gets built.

3. OpenAI Just Proposed a New Economy (Yes, Including Robot Taxes)
OpenAI has unveiled a bold vision for the “AI economy,” proposing ideas like robot taxes, public wealth funds, and a four-day workweek to address job displacement and wealth concentration in an AI-driven future.

The Details:
OpenAI proposes shifting taxation from labor to capital, arguing AI will reduce payroll-based tax revenue while increasing corporate profits.
The company suggests mechanisms like higher taxes on AI-driven gains and even a “robot tax” similar to the idea proposed by Bill Gates.
A Public Wealth Fund is proposed to give citizens shared ownership in AI companies and infrastructure, redistributing returns directly to the public.
OpenAI also envisions a four-day workweek without pay cuts, alongside expanded employer responsibilities like healthcare, retirement contributions, and childcare support.
To address workforce disruption, the company suggests portable benefits that follow workers across jobs, though these still rely heavily on employer participation.
On the infrastructure side, OpenAI calls for massive investment in energy and data centers, treating AI as a public utility to ensure broad access.
Why it Matters:
This is more than a policy proposal — it’s a signal of how one of the world’s most powerful AI companies sees the future unfolding.
If AI truly shifts wealth from labor to capital, the real battle won’t be about technology…
It will be about who owns the upside.

Now I ask what someone would pay to remove.
Because buyers don’t pay for capability.
They pay for relief.
Relief from friction.
Relief from wasted time.
Relief from things that shouldn’t be there.
AI can generate anything.
- Outputs.
- Features.
- Workflows.
That’s not the hard part anymore.
The hard part is knowing what actually hurts.
What slows people down.
What they would gladly eliminate.
What keeps showing up in their day.
That’s where money is!!
Not in what AI can do.
In what buyers are tired of dealing with.
Most founders are still building forward.
Adding more.
The better ones build backward.
Removing more.
Because the best product
isn’t the one that adds intelligence.
It’s the one that removes something painful enough
that people pay to never deal with it again.
